About this property
Harlech 5 - Matholwch is a second floor holiday apartment amongst five others set within the grounds of Harlech castle in Snowdonia. Like the others, this is a modern and luxuriously decorated holiday apartment ideal for a couples getaway. Shops, restaurants and cafes are all within a one minute walk!
The open plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area is a lovely, bright space. A sofa and chair is set around a TV & iPod docking station. Set in the window is a dining table seating two people.
The modern kitchen includes a microwave, Bosch oven, hob & grill, fridge with freezer compartment.
The relaxing bedroom has a zip n link bed which is made up as a large double as standard but can be two singles by prior request.
There is a lovely shower room with shower, heated towel rail, wash hand basin and loo.
Harlech 5 - Matholwch has a castle, visitors centre, and cafe surrounding it, but they close in the evenings. Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.
