Glyn Morfa is a well-received cottage, praised for its spaciousness, beautiful views, and secure garden. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the inclusion of a games room. The property's location offers easy access to local attractions and is ideal for exploring Harlech and nearby beaches. Some guests noted areas for improvement, but overall experiences were positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
The property generally maintains good cleanliness, with several guests finding it fresh and tidy upon arrival. However, some guests reported issues such as a damp smell in certain rooms and the need for deeper cleaning behind furniture, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
The cottage's location is highly regarded for its proximity to beaches, Harlech Castle, and local amenities. The scenic views and peaceful surroundings contribute to a positive experience. The lack of direct footpaths and the proximity to a busy road are noted, but do not significantly detract from the overall satisfaction with the location.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with spacious living areas and a warm atmosphere. The beds are generally comfortable, though some guests mentioned that certain mattresses were too hard. The presence of damp in one room affected the comfort level for some.
The property is well-furnished with a games room and secure garden. Guests appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the inclusion of a high chair. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a loose kitchen tap, lack of oven gloves, and problems with the heating system. The games room also received mixed reviews due to its condition.
While some guests were delighted with welcome gifts such as wine and Welsh cakes, there are not enough references to consistently evaluate the thoughtfulness of the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category, and guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

Did have a problem with chairs outside and inside being very worn. Left a message to owner, who replied the same day. Really beautiful area, and would highly recommend. We were a party of 7 and it was lovely being together inside and outside.

Perfect location less than 5 minute drive to the beach with local shops and attractions nearby too. The games room was great for the kids, which could do with a little freshen up, but otherwise the house was a brilliant stay! Thank you!
Helen
Great family times and house generally well equipped .However, downstairs electric shower only cold water and extractor fan not working resulting in some damp issues.
