Within three minutes’ walk, you will find Llanbedr village with its shops, hospitable pubs and the Neolithic standing stones, whilst access to the beautiful Shell Island and Morfa Dyffryn Nature Reserve and sand dunes is easily achieved by joining the Wales Coastal Path, which runs past the end of the lane. The beaches stretch for miles and miles along the North Wales coastline, and there are many cycling trails (cycle hire is available in the village) to be enjoyed. Amazing walks with stunning scenery are all around the area and Cwm Nantcol, Cwm Bychan and the Roman Steps are a must see! There is so much to see and do in this area and everything is within easy reach, the wonderful links golf course at Royal St. Davids is fantastic and the medieval castle at Harlech is just three miles away. Barmouth is a lovely seaside town and is less than thirty minutes away and worth a visit to enjoy an ice cream along the sea front or a spot of afternoon tea at one of the many tea rooms.
