Guests say

Craig Y Deryn is highly praised for its exceptional quality, comfort, and stunning location in North Wales & Snowdonia. Guests appreciate the peacefulness, the well-equipped and cosy interiors, and the beautiful views. The property is ideal for both relaxing retreats and exploring the local area, with easy access to beaches and towns. The hosts are commended for their hospitality, contributing to a welcoming stay.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests mentioned minor issues with cleanliness, such as stained pillow protectors and overlooked items, which slightly impacted the overall impression.

The location is consistently described as beautiful and peaceful, with easy access to local attractions, beaches, and countryside walks. The idyllic setting and proximity to Tywyn are particularly appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploring Snowdonia.

Guests report the cottage as comfortable and cosy, with a warm atmosphere and thoughtful touches like robes and slippers. Some guests, however, found the beds to be less comfortable, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

The property is well-equipped and maintained, with guests mentioning the provision of wood for the log burner and a well-stocked kitchen. Criticisms include unreliable Wi-Fi and some kitchen items needing replacement, indicating that while facilities are generally good, there is scope for enhancement.

While many guests feel well-cared for during their stay, there is insufficient information regarding specific thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately assess this category. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

Lovely big garden for our dog to run around in. Bob made us feel very welcome & Tina was great with her info of all the surrounding areas.

Really enjoyed it, and were very lucky with the weather, but if the weather had been awful we would gladly have stayed in! Thanks for a lovely stay, and especially thanks to Tina for helping us with the radiators.
