  We have had a fantastic stay at Holt House.

  On arrival there was a birthday card and fresh flowers from Ian and Ali as I had said we would be celebrating my 60th birthday at the weekend. There was also a welcome hamper which we all loved and the tea/coffee pots were full. We had plenty of room for a family of 6 adults 2 children and a dog to have comfy seats to rest on. We all loved the games room and beautiful garden with garden furniture to relax on. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and we had ample towels for baths/showers. The very big kitchen had every pot/pan and utensil we could have thought of. Everything was immaculately clean and was typical of a country cottage theme. We would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful part of the country. There are plenty of places to visit on days out close to Holt House. We played golf, had a trip into Lincoln and the beautiful Belton House owned by the national trust. Items such as washing up liquid, tea towels, tinfoil, kitchen roll were all provided. Holt House is a beautiful place to stay and we would thoroughly recommend it.

  Old Willow Barn is absolutely superb, undoubtedly the best holiday property we have ever used.

  The accommodation is amazing, with every attention to detail catered for. It was so comfortable and welcoming...a pleasure to come back to each day. We felt totally spoiled! The location was perfect for us; peaceful and tranquil with lovely views over open countryside. We went to explore Lincolshire, especially the aviation history of the area as my Dad was based there in WW2. It didn't disappoint as the property was perfectly positioned to visit all the places of interest we wanted to see including the coast. The owners Jo and James could not have made us feel more welcome, and the wonderful hamper of local "goodies" on our arrival was a lovely touch. We would 100% recommend Old Willow Barn to anyone seeking a 5* delightful "home from home" in this beautiful part of the country.

  Beautiful, spacious property that is in amazing condition.

  Very large and comfortable downstairs with a lovely kitchen, dining and TV area. The other end of the downstairs features a large coat/boot room that doubles as the laundry and also a large downstairs toilet. The upstairs has two very large bedrooms and bathroom. The twin is very spacious and great for kids and teens. The master bedroom has a fantastic views and a brilliant en suite. There is a very nice outside seating area with gas barbecue. Having access to a car charger next to the property was essential to us and we were very grateful to be able to use this. As other reviewers have noted the owners are very welcoming and helpful, and the welcome pack they put in the property was very well received.

  Old Willow Barn is a great place to stay, peaceful, spacious & converted/furnished to a very high standard.

  Our hosts, James & Jo, were very friendly & helpful, we were grateful that they were able to provide non feather bedding due to my allergies at such short notice, thank you! The welcome basket was a thoughtful & generous touch, filled with tasty local produce, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, there are beautiful views from every window, the photos on the website do not do it justice, all the outdoor/garden areas have matured beautifully since the photos were taken. We particularly enjoyed picnicking around the idyllic pond and never tired of watching the swooping swallows, a garden full of butterflies, the visiting sheep & Bandit the adorable farm cat.

  Old Willow Barn is a wonderfully equipped and comfortable holiday let.

  The barn is finished to such a high standard and has absolutely everything you’d need for a relaxing stay. Comforting beds; bathrooms which felt like a boutique hotel and a great kitchen/living space to enjoy. Hosts Jo and James were on hand if we needed anything but left us to it to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The area is great - plenty of walks from the door and if you want to travel, there’s loads to do in the area and a bit further afield. Lincoln is a must-do visit and we also enjoyed an old fashioned beach day at Mablethorpe. We had a lovely welcome basket on arrival with delicious local goodies. We’d love to return in the future and would highly recommend.
