What our customers say about their holidays

We had a fantastic stay at Rose Cottage in this stunning part of the country.
The cottage is ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle: peaceful, cosy, with lots of ways to create and take inspiration from the surrounds. Thereâs a wonderful piano, a guitar, art materials, games and books, and the cottage has a comforting feel from the moment you walk through the door. There are footpaths onto Penistone Hill and the moors just steps away, and the centre of Haworth is close by, with plenty of pubs, cafes, shops, and restaurants to sample. If you are a creative looking for a place to focus on your craft, a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a lover of the outdoors seeking adventure on your doorstep, Rose Cottage has it all. A special mention to for Andy and Jane. Their contact before our stay was second to none. I also highly recommend you check out Pier Pipers Pianos. As well as a chance to tinkle the ivories, they host regular music nights (think the West Yorkshire Tiny Desk Concert!) We had a wonderful evening watching the supremely talented Laâl Tethera, and itâs a great way to scratch beneath the surface of this fascinating place.

We found the property very well appointed and with a large welcome pack there to greet us, we were made to feel very at home.
Being able to bring our small dog was a huge benefit and although there were only two of us, there is a separate room with bunk bed for anyone with a young family. There is also a games room in the basement with billiards table, table football and darts board! The property was well situated for our visit to the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway being within easy walking distance down to the station. It was also convenient for visiting Haworth Village and Bronte Parsonage Museum, either by short car ride to the top of the village or a stiff climb up from the station through the lovely Central Park. Parking was on the street and we always managed to find a space. There is a Co-Op supermarket next to the station and some lovely places to eat out in Haworth - can particularly recommend the Old White Lion and the Fleece Inn for bar meals. Thank you Sam and Anthony for helping ensure we had such a lovely break!

Just got back from a perfect week staying in this super cottage.
Andy and Jane had put so much thought into the decor and comfort factor, not to mention the cottage's immaculate presentation. Jane's superb art graces the walls creating a beautiful ambience, so fitting to Haworth's character. The whole place has a really cosy and traditional feel with an 'arty' and musical ambience. We particularly loved bathing in the deep roll topped bath, cosying up on the comfy sofa and enjoying the ab fab view from the bedroom. The kitchen was so convenient and easy to use and the cottage was warmed by central heating with a wood burning stove, if so desired. We were Andy and Jane's first guests and were greeted with chilled Prosecco, beautiful Roses, milk, tea and coffee..we couldn't have asked for more. We particularly felt the history of this mill cottage which somehow resonated still. We really didn't want to leave

Perfect! Tyne View was simply perfect for our stay with the puppy!
Everything was new, there was everything you needed in the kitchenette for cooking any meal. Loved how it was integrated into the living space so we could spend time all together fully. So very cosy. Smart TV was ace! Door separating the living area with upstairs great so we didn't have to worry about the puppy going upstairs. Beds were super comfy, lots and lots of fluffy towels and throws. The games room downstairs an added bonus. Property at the edge of Haworth, near station was perfect for us, easy access to central park and short walk to main street. Lots and lots of restaurants and takeaways on the doorstep. I really cannot rate Tyne View highly enough! And special thanks for the late check-out and Welcome Box. Amazing, thank you. Oh, and parking on street, easy, could always park right next to the cottage!

A really lovely cottage.
The owners had made it very cosy and it was spotlessly clean. The welcome gifts were very special and put us in the holiday mood straight away. Very good value for money and I would highly recommend this cottage to other guests. Private note to owner (please delete from public review) - just to make you aware the double sheet had a bit of a stain on it (possibly blood), it was clear the sheet had been washed and it was clean but it may need replacing. When we arrived we were a bit confused if we should access the house by walking through the front garden of the neighbour so it may just be worth adding some further directions on the welcome email. Just a couple of minor things I thought may be useful to feedback. We had a great stay and would love to come back, you have a lovely place. Loved the welcome gifts.
