  We have stayed at some excellent properties in recent years, but I think this one was the best of the lot, it was just perfect for our requirements. The owner was very friendly and helpful with suggestions about things to do in the local area, and this contributed to a very enjoyable holiday. The property was surrounded by 200 acres of woodland teeming with wildlife - deer, squirrels, pheasants, all sorts of smaller birds, swans on the lake, etc. There was an excellent selections of books too, it was tempting to stay there reading! The welcome package of milk, wine, bread, butter, etc was a nice touch. It was very cosy, with a good heating system, and the bed was very comfortable. We would love to return sometime.

  What a fantastic base to explore North Norfolk from! We had a wonderful week here at Artemis. The flat here is lovely and cosy with everything you might need. We cooked dinner in most nights, but went to the Vernon Arms pub in Southrepps for food on our last night and can definitely recommend there for both their food and hospitality. The immediate area is lovely for walks around the woods, or along the quiet country roads. We can also recommend trips to Cromer or both National Trust places Felbrigg Hall & Blickling Estate - that are lovely and very close.

  We were very warmly welcomed at Artemis. There was a most generous welcome pack (even including a bottle of Prosecco for us to celebrate the start of our holiday!) The cottage was comfy, cosy and peaceful. It is surrounded by 200 acres of woodland which is owned by the owner of the cottage and which is managed as wildlife reserve and we were invited to use the grounds for walks. It was absolute heaven. . And the owner is a most engaging character with whom we had several really interesting conversations. The whole thing is is an absolute gem.

  Very good descriptions on the website; frequent updates and reminders- maybe too many the week before! Like the filter options on the website to identify appropriate properties and star ratings are helpful. The website was a bit weird when it came to booking - had to try several times. The property itself is unique and unusual- extremely friendly host next door- amazing nature and peace and quiet- plus a very friendly dog who adopted us! The flat is comfortable and everything you might need is provided. Close to lots of interesting things to do.

  It's not often that you actually find what you are looking for. Artemis for us was where you hear the quiet. No mobile, no internet, no cars and no people other than the owners who were helpful and unobtrusive. A little bit of magic from our windows enabled undisturbed assortment of wildlife to cross our view without the knowledge that we were watching them. A very tranquil place for us, for a week, away from the ever maddening world.
