  Agreeing with all that has been said before the location and facilities of this Craven Cottage has been first class. I cant believe its only 3 stars we are certainly going to book again. We had a great week using a North West rover on the railway and also sampling various bus routes. The Saturday bus to Harrogate and the Sunday bus from Grassington to Hawes were particularly scenic and interesting. We mostly catered for ourselves but would recommend Bizzy Lizzies for fish and chips. Skipton has many bakers shops that you are spoilt for choice but pastries from Thomas's were very good. As for doing your washing try the Express Laundromat on Sackville Street a seven minute walk away and the staff were very helpful , they give change for the machines and you can buy soap there.   We would highly recommend the property. The location is great for people with or without a car. Skipton is a town with lots to see close by or as we did drive further afield to visit other places. We visited York, Harrogate, Ullswater, Hawes, Ingleton, Bolton Abbey, Hebden Bridge, Ripon, Malham, Aysgarth Falls, Ilkley Moor and many other places. We also love having so much in Skipton on the doorstep so if you don’t drive it is a lovely town to walk around with interesting shops etc. The cottage is right in the heart of the town which is great when you want to pop out for a quick look at the market etc before going out for the day. The cottage is also very well looked after, very clean and has good facilities. We have stayed twice now and will hopefully return soon.

  Lovely stay! Smashing cottage loved the welcome biscuits milk tea coffee etc , Marvelous. Perfect location so many pubs in one town.and so many micro pubs we enjoyed getting to know Skipton , enjoyed an afternoon tea cruise on the canal loved the castle and enjoyed the castle woods and the Keelham Farm shop the Craven Shopping Arcade Aargh. Lovely restaurants the Cock and Bottle food the Market , everything was great , great wi-fi a tv in the bedroom the list goes on . Smashing Thanks

  What a lovely cottage. Perfect position right in town. Great for nights out and walking along the canal. We had everything we need for a comfortable week and even enjoyed a game of pool. We came through Skipton on a narrowboat earlier in the year and vowed to return . It hasn't disappointed us. We ate at Bizzie Lizzies, The Cork and Bottle and Le Bistro des Amis. All thoroughly recommended followed by a final beer at the Beer Engine around the corner. Thank you

  We have had a lovely stay here with our grown up son. Our main reason for the get together was to walk Pen-Y-Ghant , which we did in the driving rain and low cloud.but we did it! and feel very achieved. Skipton is a lovely town and the Wolds were also a lovely gentle walk today. thank you for the use of the house. We have been very comfortable.
