What our customers say about their holidays

Wide angle net pic pics very deceptive.
This is a small one bed ground floor flat with another upstairs. There's shared lawn, lovely fruiting crabapple tree, outside tables and chairs , air dryer, 2 parking spaces, all facing other houses on the "village" estate .Also ample "community" grounds nearby and facitlities that we didn't use (wet November). Flat floors are pleasing "wood", leather comfy furniture and wood cupboards etc., folksy rugs, excellent TV, snuggly bed, pretty linen, easy tiny shower with gorgeous tiles. First rate kitchen. Heating bit problematic: All rads locked at 15degrees, but extra coal effect fire in sitting room fairly powerful. Thanks for diffusing sticks throughout - wood sage and sea salt, lovely. St. Frances is a really charming village with 2 good pubs/restaurants,.surrounded by countryside, with superb 13th century church and pretty cottages.Countless glorious beaches all along coast and coastal path nearby. Only negative thing was 14 days rain, so thank goodness for the 1000 piece jigsaw (almost finished) and little library!. .

We had a lovely relaxing week in Granary cottage, just what we needed!
It's situated in a quiet and peaceful area, the cottage itself is quite simply perfect. Excellent Wi-Fi, warm & cosy, loads of hot water, brilliant shower, fully equipped throughout, enclosed garden for our little dog, and the best welcome pack we've ever had! Freshwater East and Freshwater West beaches are close by, we actually stumbled upon 'Dobbys Grave' while on Freshwater West which was great to see. There are plenty of breathtaking beaches to explore in this part of Wales, as well as gardens and castles. There's Aldi, Tesco and Asda very close by if you need anything, we also picked up a very nice indian takeout from Pembroke town. I'd definitely recommend a stay at Granary cottage, we will return as there are still places we'd like to visit in the area, and because we loved the cottage so much, it's like home from home.

We were reassured about our booking from our arrival.
The comfortable outdoor furniture in the secluded courtyard between the cottages was welcome after being out and about that first day. There was a generous food provision when we went inside - a full fruit bowl and essentials - a nice fresh loaf, milk, butter and jam (we donât take these for granted - some places donât provide anything). The sign of a good holiday property is that you are able to relax when you find the information you have been provided with beforehand is accurate and complete. That was certainly the case here. Meeting the owners was also nice - itâs reassuring that they live on the premises (many donât). Our acid test is âwould we come againâ. That gets a resounding âyesâ - weâre just not sure how soon.

Beautiful house in a lovely rural setting.
Very well equipped throughout. The garden was the perfect size, and nice and secure for our dog, who also loved the doggy treats! It's a great base for getting around, nothing was too far away. The Carew Inn is great for food, and Pembroke castle is a good day out, whatever your age! Would have been useful to have some instructions on the heating, luckily the thermostat is the same as we have at home.Just a note on our personal experience , a bath mat for the downstairs shower would have been useful, my parents found it incredibly slippy and struggled getting in and out as the screen was fixed. These are minor comments and should take nothing away from what is a stunning property. Would be very happy to return.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable two weeks at Granary.
What a wonderful cottage catering for all our needs, a real home from home. The garden is excellent and our GSD Uhtred certainly made the most of it. There are plenty of lovely walks in the area, we visited Pembroke castle, Stackpole beach, freshwater beach which has a nicely situated Inn to sit and look over the bay whilst having your meal, also very dog friendly. Barafundle Bay is worth the walk from Stackpole taking you over the coastal path with wonderful views and a refreshing dip at the end. Colby Woodland garden and Lamphey Bishops Palace are also worth a visit. Every where you go it is dog friendly and not overcrowded even on the hottest days. Thank you Sue and Jon we will be back.
