What our customers say about their holidays

This has been the third occasion that we stayed at this property, and there have been some upgrades since we last stayed.
With a beach shack installed in the back garden, my boy spent loads of time in here watching TV and playing games. A hot tub has also been installed which was great we were able to relax in here at the end of a long day. The house is great you have a well designed functional kitchen with loads of storage space, a big American fridge freezer and a utility room off this with a washing machine and dryer. Upstairs you will find 4 good sized bedrooms with the master bedroom having it's own en-suite. One of the things that I liked about the bedrooms was the amount of storage that was available, there are full sized wardrobes in all of the bedrooms and sets of drawers in two of them as well. This means you can unpack everything, put it away and you're not living out of your case for a week. Outside is a big garden, with a raised patio area including a fire pit. There is also gated access at the rear of the property straight out on to a path that leads down to the beach. This was great for us as the dog loves the beach as do the kids, this was literally a 2 minute walk. In the winter months there is sometimes a close gate at the beach entrance but if you look just to the right there is a sandy path leading up and around this. The communal areas are great too, with the living room having a big TV and lots of seating and the dining room off this with plenty of seating too. There are two small supermarkets within walking distance (Co-Op and Spar) as well as a gregs. If you walk up the beach you will find yourself at Prestatyn Leisure Centre, the have a little bar here too which is great if you fancy a bit of a walk and want to stop for a drink, they also serve food, but check the opening times. This is a great place to spend a week away, it's like a home from home, I would definitely recommend.

This was the first time that we stayed at this property and we absolutely loved it.
On arrival we found a little hamper with treats in for the kids for christmas as well as a little treat for the dog too which he loved! The facilities are fantastic, the kitchen is a really good size and has lots of storage for everything. Sometimes when you go away you have lack of storage for things and they end up on the kitchen sides, but here there is room for everything. There is also a large fridge freezer, it's massive you can fit everything in here no problem. The living room and dining room are adjoined and there is plenty of seating in here for everyone. Upstairs are 4 bedroom, 3 are doubles and the 1 is twin, the master has an en-suite. The thing I liked about the rooms was how much storage that they had, I could unpack my whole case and put everything away, I hate it when you go away and there is not enough room to store your belongings. Outside there is a large garden with a raised patio including a fire pit, there is also a gated pathway leading down to the beach, which is great if you like the beach its only a couple of minutes walk . Overall I loved staying here and would definitely stay again. If you're looking for a holiday in North Wales there are plenty of caravan sites but this gives you a lot more for your money.

Great stay at Bro Mebyd.
Lovely bungalow in a fabulous location. Loved the conservatory and garden. Just a few things I feel would enhance the home. Itâs definitely in need of a thorough clean, inside of the front window is marked with dog nose prints and the window frames are very dirty in places. The shower room wall tiles are grubby and have evidence of dried soap lather on them from previous renters. The double glazed units in the bungalow are misted inside and have condensation in them as theyâve broken down, more noticeable in the front in the evening sun, these need replacing - it spoils the view of the lovely garden too. Concise information regarding what recycling goes in each bin is needed - I had to run after the bin men on the Friday morning as they wouldnât take the full box of glass bottles as the previous people had put an aerosol can in there. Access to washing/drying facilities I feel is essential on holidays. There were no extra blankets if required. This is the first holiday accommodation weâve stayed in and not been left welcoming goodies. All said though we did have a lovely holiday and just a few improvements could make Bro Mebyd perfect.

We have just arrived home after a brilliant stay at Beachway.
The instructions on arrival were easy to follow and booking process was super easy too. I had a couple of questions before we travelled and the owners replied very quickly. The home was immaculate and very welcoming and homely. It provided a great base for us to have a family break. The beach shack, hot tub and beach access are an amazing addition to the holiday and we really benefitted from this, as we had four children ranging from age 4 to 19. The beach is so close and no roads to cross, from the back gate. Beds were extremely comfortable and linen was spotless and plenty of storage space. Kitchen had all the mod cons and the utility room was great! I requested a stair gate before we travelled this was provided at no additional charge. There was nothing we didnât need, as everything was provided at the house. the welcome pack was a nice touch on arrival ( milk bread butter and cakes for the children ) that was a nice thought and we also appreciated the email to allow us to check in at 3, instead of 5. All in all a fabulous Wales stay and we had the sunshine

We stayed from 27th September for a week and found it to be a mixture of good and bad.
On the good side it was clean and very spacious for 4 people. We liked the new sofas and the conservatory gave good additional space. On the not so good side, the double bedroom was damp and had mildew all over the wall behind the bed, not good as two of us have asthma. Also in that room one of the bedside lights didnât work. We tried changing the bulb but it still didnât work. The central heating was erratic and tended to be off in the middle of the day and very hot in the middle of the night. We wonder if a previous power outage may have messed with the timer? We do like to cook on holiday and were very disappointed that there were only small pans, nothing large enough to cook for 4 adults. We ended up getting our own pans. There wasnât a large serving spoon or ladle either. The single beds were both pretty uncomfortable. On a minor point we were left only 3 bath towels not 4. Although this is quite a long list of negatives, the location was great and we had a good time.
