Wales Cottages with Hot Tubs

Wales is a land of contrasts and character, from tall mountains, amazing national parks and some of Britain's best beaches in the north, to small fishing villages, abandoned mines and the lively towns of Cardiff, Swansea and Abergavenny in the south. Speaking of character, there are lots of great cottages in Wales and if you want accommodation with that extra hint of luxury, you might opt for a property with a hot tub.

With so much to do across both North and South Wales, including thousands of miles of hiking trails and cycle routes, by the time you get back to your cottage chances are you'll be a little worse for wear. A Wales holiday cottage with hot tub facilities take the idea of a relaxing getaway to a whole new level. If you're looking for a romantic little hideaway for a few days, the addition of a hot tub can add a touch of magic - just don't forget to pack the champagne!

Wales holiday cottages with hot tub facilities are ideal if you're looking for something really special, perhaps a little honeymoon hideaway, and want to enjoy the slower pace of life, a few bubbles and plenty of blissful relaxation in the idyllic Welsh surroundings.

Best locations for a hot tub holiday in Wales

Wales is a pretty big place, and wherever you choose to stay you're bound to be within a short drive of some amazing attractions. There are three national parks – Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia and the Pembrokeshire Coast – areas of unspoiled natural beauty ideal for hiking, cycling or a spot of birdwatching (keep an eye out for red kites and ospreys). A Luxurious Escape: Experiencing Tranquility in Cardigan Bay Nestled along the picturesque shores of Cardigan Bay, our recent stay at the luxury bungalow proved to be an unforgettable retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of unparalleled beauty and serenity. Situated in a prime location boasting panoramic views of the bay, the property offered a mesmerizing backdrop that effortlessly set the tone for relaxation. As we stepped inside, we were immediately struck by the impeccable design and attention to detail. Every aspect of the bungalow exuded elegance and sophistication, reflecting its esteemed five-star status. The interior decor exuded a sense of refinement, with plush furnishings and tasteful accents adorning each room. From the spacious living area to the cozy bedrooms, every space was thoughtfully curated to ensure both comfort and style. The high-class finish was evident in every corner, showcasing a commitment to excellence that surpassed all expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that greeted us each morning, which was further enjoyed by sitting in the jacuzzi. The expansive windows offered uninterrupted vistas of the bay, allowing us to revel in the beauty of nature from the comfort of our own private sanctuary. Whether enjoying a leisurely breakfast or simply unwinding with a book, the stunning scenery served as a constant source of inspiration and tranquility. In addition to its idyllic setting, the bungalow boasted an array of amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. From the state-of-the-art kitchen to the luxurious bathrooms, no detail was overlooked in ensuring a seamless stay. What a wonderful find Y Stabl was.

It was exactly as described in the details and the photos did it justice. Steve met us when we arrived, showed us around and explained a few things. He is very friendly, helpful and would have been approachable had we have needed any further assistance. But, then he left us to enjoy our holiday. The cottage is very interesting, homely and had lots of tourist information to help you decide where to visit. There are also DVDs, books and games. The bed was so incredibly comfortable. The cottage is set in a peaceful location with only the occasional (once a day) passing car. The hot tub was a daily delight especially after a day of walking. Robes and extra towels are provided for the hot tub. It was very clean and hygienic. There is a fish pond and water feature in the garden and even when the jets were off, it was so relaxing to sit in the hot tub listening to the trickling sounds and the birdsong. We feel like we've been on a spa retreat. It's an ideal location for reaching both coasts. So many beautiful walks to do. But, also plenty of lovely towns to explore when the weather isn't favourable. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Just returned from a fabulous week at Y Stabl and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great base for exploring South Wales. Cottage is lovely and has everything you need. We cooked 5 nights out of 7 and had no problems. Steve greeted us on arrival and gave us the tour and some tips on where to walk, which is what we intended doing. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the area and rightly so! Lower Town Fishguard is gorgeous and I’m a little in love with the place. The weather was so hot we actually found using the jacuzzi at the end of a long day to be too warm! We went in later and later to try and enjoy it for longer. It was lovely though! Goodwick is a lovely little town and we found the people to be so friendly it was like home from home. That was the case everywhere we went! Our only negative was the cottage felt a little damp, but to be fair the constant rain but warm weather up to our week would have contributed. We were lucky so just opened the windows and it made a difference. Nothing worth complaining about though and certainly didn’t spoil our brilliantl week, and I would recommend this to family and friends as a cracking place to stay and Steve and his wife are the best hosts! Thank you.

We had a lovely long Bank Holiday break at Y Stabl.

We walked in and immediately felt at home, Steve was so kind and showed us everything we needed as well as pinging us during the long journey there. We settled straight way and got the wine and food on. The equipment was adequate for what we needed, and we managed spaghetti bolognaise, a stew and a pork Sunday lunch (we cook a lot as part of our diet needs)! The welcome basket was lovely, and I don’t think there was anything left by the time we did! The walks were also lovely, and we found plenty of places to sit and have lunch along the way. The weather was kind, and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi to get back to, nice and simple to use, and the privacy was also fine as you are quite out in the countryside. It was also lovely to read how many people have been coming there for many many years – when the swimming pool was there! Again, thank you we needed to rest our heads and hearts and we able too

Fantastic week here - the stable is clean, tidy and charming.

Everything you need is supplied - the owners made us feel so welcome too, gorgeous Welsh bara brith cake and wine on our arrival. This may be a small gesture but it conveys a really warm welcome missing in many places - our last week away in Brixham had nothing! Steve is great, friendly and really knowledgeable about the area. He’s there when needed but never intrusive. Lovely friendly cat around too we fussed over. Hot tub was just brilliant and we used it every day. Note that the bad review posted on here by somebody previously is complete rubbish - hot tub is NOT overlooked by the owner and is private enough, you can sit at the back of it and you cannot even see the house!! Area is beautiful - fantastic coastal walks in all directions. Lots of clean towels and bath robes for hot tub are provided. Thank you again for a lovely holiday!
