  Disappointing We appreciated the convenience of locality of the property and the off road parking .

  When we arrived the radiators were switched off .We expected them to be on at an ambient temperature with simple instructions to increase the temperature.We switched them on and the kitchen one became dangerously hot to the touch The other 2 did not respond .The lounge then worked spasmodically for the next few days.The hall one never worked.The weather was relatively mild so we were fine.The last 48 hours of our visit the weather was chilly .We were not ' Cosy'. We found the instruction manual pushed to the back of a cupboard but did not want to interfere with any preset schedules and instructions were very complicated .We could have rung the owner but did not want to waste time on our holiday waiting for something to be sorted that should have been checked in the changeover time.There was no supplementary emergency heating eg.fan heater as is usual in our experience.We did not want to use the wood burner and in any did not have a lighter( not supplied) The TV in the bedroom mostly could not be used reception was poor and it pixelated on all channels. The bins outside were overflowing when we arrived and remained so.There were a number of flies in the property possibility as a result . We did enjoy some lovely walks and the scenery and a good visit to Whitby.

  Positives...

  ..Location wise to beach and amenities are good ,and all close to the apartment. Comfy beds, nice bedrooms with clean and fresh bedding, plenty of towels too. lovely bathroom & heated towel rail so we always had dry towels to use and plenty of hot water . Nice bright and lovely view from the small dining area on to a public garden which is kept very neat and tidy. Kitchen and lounge adequate size, kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking, instructions for all electrical items, but we did find the oven a challenge at first but soon got used to how it worked. Emma the owner very friendly and responsive , left a welcome pack of goodies and drinks for the grand children. negatives... wall mounted TV too high on the wall, even grandkids commented on why it was so high. Bit disappointed with skirting and some doors , they needed a clean, I do like things clean, even paint work! Overall this is a lovely flat, it was home for 1 week, we had good weather and grand kids loved the beach and other amenities that bridlington offers. Thankyou Emma. Xx

  We had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment.

  It is in a great location just a stone’s throw from the beach It also has a nice leafy park just across the road for the kids to run around in. The views are absolutely superb. We were up early enough to see the sunrise most days. It really is a magical spectacle. The apartment itself is spacious and well appointed with comfy furniture and all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and there were lots of nice additional touches including some snacks and a nice cake on arrival. The board games were a welcome addition- we played a lot of Frustration! We were lucky enough to have good weather most of the week so were able to enjoy the beach every day. Hall Garth park is also a great place for the children’s area and wide green space to explore. We visited the Hornsea Museum and also took a trip to Hull to visit the Deep and the East Park, also great for kids. All in all a very good experience, we hope to return.

  Had a nice stay with my dog but it's a studio not a one bed apartment.

  Not much room between bed and table so have lovely bruises on my thigh thanks to the bedpost corner. Flooded the bathroom as no instructions left as to which tap worked which shower head. Could have done with an eye mask as the overhead light was on from dusk till dawn and the blinds aren't blackout ones. Read other reviews and took a digital indoor aerial with me which I stuck to the window. TV worked as normal after retuning to aerial setting otherwise you have to sign in to each app. The instructions were there for the TV but they didn't work as previous occupants had attached It to a laptop and not reset it. It was well equipped and short walk to shops and bus station and across the road from The Spa. Sam the caretaker was lovely. She sorted the problem I had with the central heating but then it had problems again. Only there 4 nights and it was warm anyway so didn't bother her again. Wouldn't stay again though.

  We had a great short stay at Wave and Sea, the property was in a perfect location.

  It was a 2 minute walk onto the sea front and about a 10 minutes away from The Spa which was the reason for our stay in Bridlington to see a concert. Perfectly placed for travelling around, about an hour away from Whitby or Hull in the opposite direction so brilliant if you want to get out and about. The property was clean and tidy and had everything that we needed. Emma and Tufail were perfect hosts, the communication prior to arrival was excellent and they arranged parking permits and explained where and when we could park- even allowing us to use them prior to official check in time. They kept in touch and made sure we knew where to go if we had any issues which we didn’t. The instructions within the property were clear and there was lots of recommendations on where to eat if anyone needed any guidance.
