What our customers say about their holidays

Lovely house in a great position with good parking.
We were a party of 6 adults, so weâre able to each have an ensuite. 4 needed to work at times, and the property allowed each of them privacy to conduct their meetings. There was a bit of an issue with wifi and 4g, but the best areas for use were soon sussed. Kitchen facilities are great and we managed a BBQ a couple of nights. Hot Tub was lovely. Easy walk downhill into town. We had a lovely lunch at the Stone Crab and a evening meal at Coast (chose the tasting menu). You need to book at these places well in advance. Stone Crab seems to have a permanent âsorry weâre fully bookedâ board outside and it is usually a couple of weeks before they have any vacancies. Narberth has some lovely shops, went on a sea safari from Tenby, Picton Castle is a great day out, with a Spanish restaurant on site. Blas restaurant (we booked ahead) at St Davids was very good. Beaches are beautiful. Wouldnât hesitate to go again.

Beautiful property, sadly many things are lacking for the prices charged.
Positive note the beds are very comfortable, every room has a bathroom. The games room is brilliant space .The cleaners are not doing the job properly, for £4000 for 4 days you would expect the windows to be clean, windows shills etc . Bathrooms clean but several radiators are extremely degraded and rusty. The place should be sparkling. Enough plates to feed an army but nowhere to put your food except fridge. Decoration is good on the whole but some very random art work put together, lovely curtains but need to be hung properly. We didn't get to use swimming pool it was leaking and cold which is a shame and we should of been told before our stay as we would of change location. IF ALL THE TWEAKING WAS DONE ON THIS PROPERTY TO MAKE IS WORTH THE MONEY IT WOULD BE MAGNIFICENT. DONT GET ME WRONG WE HAD A GREAT TIME , IT JUST WASNT WHAT WE ORDERED

A beautiful house, spacious and roomy, perfect for our stay - extended family consisting of 8 adults (3 couples, 2 singles) and 2 children (aged 4 and 1).
It is quite a walk down to the town, but I loved doing it every morning to get the newspapers for the 80 year old in our group. She was not used to stairs as she lives in a bungalow, so found negotiating her way around the house quite tricky with all the stairs, but she still loved it and had a great time. The upstairs lounge area was a great place to hang out and play games in the evening after the kids were in bed! I suppose if I were to be ultra, ultra picky, Iâd say that more sofas in one space would have been good, so that we could all sit together, but we mostly managed by sitting at the downstairs downing table in the big open plan space. We didnât use the separate drawing room downstairs at all. All in all, we had the best week of birthday celebrations with the family and Iâd happily return and stay at this property again.

We had a lovely stay in October and the peaceful setting was wonderful.
The hot tub was lovely but we had to erect a gazebo around it as it is very exposed and the breeze across the fields made it uncomfortable to use without some protection. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dogs and very spacious. The games room was a bonus but I think a bit more could be made of it - maybe by adding a dart board. The ability to recycle everything including food was most welcome. The furnishings were comfortable and tasteful and the kitchen diner a lovely space. The all the bedrooms and the upstairs bathrooms were lovely but I think the downstairs shower room could be made a little more comfortable. The only real negative was the total absence of hanging rails/wardrobes in 2 of the bedrooms resulting in us having to hang clothing from the curtain poles. Overall a lovely place to stay.

I appreciate this review is a year too late as we stayed here 2022 and have stayed before.
This year we have booked to try somewhere in south England and I'm sure it will be lovely however I have already realised how exceptional the owners of Rhodewood are - both with their pre-arrival information which they clearly took alot of time researching, places to eat, visit, contact numbers, what we could expect in the cupboards, where there fans, games etc every detail was included. Also an easy contact. The cottage I have booked I can't even get a straight answer I just get redirected to the booking agent and on hold for ages so give up. Just wanted to praise again the beautiful property but most of all the owners attention to detail and communication - it really does make all the difference - anyone who has booked thus property you're in for a treat Stunning
