  Just wanted to say thank you for the use of your fabulous house! First time in a couple of years we've managed to get the family together for a break away and was lovely to be able to relax and spread out through the property. There is so much space we never felt on top of each other, but there was also great communal space for meals and movie nights. The log cabin outside bar were well used ...mostly by those that had to unfortunately keep in touch with their businesses, which they could do intermittently in peace and quiet. Two-year-old grand daughter and two young pups had a whale of a time in the garden, and at the beach which was a couple of minutes easy walk. Pub also within walking distance, and welcome hot tub on return - couldn't really ask for more! Equipment - wise we couldn't fault it, everything (and I mean everything!) has been thought of - we even cooked corn on the cob one Mexican themed supper - and yes, there was even corn on the cob forks tucked away in a drawer!! Great range of bedroom accommodation, plentiful hot water, showers efficient, plenty of dining space, plenty of seating space. All in all a perfect getaway! Happy to recommend to other branches of the family, and friends - we will definitely be back!

  This was a perfect place for us to celebrate a 90th and a 40th birthday as a family group of 14. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the facilities and equipment you could possibly want or need. Everything is so close to hand: a lovely beach, an excellent pub, a good cafe and a good fish & chip shop. The hot tub was a major attraction for young and old, and was put to good use during our stay, as was the huge industrial sized barbecue and the well equipped bar which was an excellent source of entertainment in the evenings. Communication with the owner before our visit was very straightforward; and he was kind enough to forward by post a bluetooth speaker, which we had inadvertently left behind. We had a brilliant few days in Bacton, and would love to have stayed for longer.

  The whole family has loved spending time together and celebrating a 70th Birthday. We really enjoyed all of the facilities in this lovely house and viewing the stars on a clear night without any pollution is amazing! The kids loved the Pier, ice-cream and amusements at Cromer, almost as much as the grown ups did! Holt was great too with lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs. We would recommend Felbrigg Hall (National Trust) as it’s very impressive, and also the venison sausages at The Gunton Arms! All in all we had a great time walking on the beach, playing football, collecting stones, the hot tub and being together as a large family.

  A truly lovely house for the 11 of us to spend all together. We thought the Christmas decorations and festive welcome bag were a lovely touch. Nice location for walks to the beach and able to visit the lovely pub 'The Poachers Pocket' for New Years Day lunch, staff very accommodating. Loved the hot tub and the log cabin was great for our older teenage kids to have their own space when needed. All facilities here are to a very high standard and we've thoroughly enjoyed seeing in the New Year at Old Cottage. Would definitely recommend and come back once again. Thank you!   Wonderful place to gather all the family to celebrate my 70th. Thanks for everything you provided for us during our stay and for comfortable beds, plenty of seating, great TV for Wimbledon finals and the piano which was played for my pleasure! So useful having the downstairs bedroom for my 94 year old mother, too, with easy access wet room. Highlights were having fun in the garden with my 7 grandchildren, drinking in the sunshine, cricket on the beach and relaxing in the hot tub with the bluetooth music and lights. Thank you so much.
