  What an amazing place to stay!

  There are four cottages at Lower Farm Cottages to choose from of varying sizes. We booked one of the smaller one bedroom cottages called “The Dairy” it was very spacious had a luxury super king size bed but it could be split into a twin and even had a Hot Tub as well! The cottage was lovely and clean and everything you could need was supplied such as beds made up on arrival, towels & tea-towels provided. Basket of essentials such as teabags, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, biscuits and even a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy…… It’s set in peaceful countryside and you can hear the birds chirping around you. The Cottages are owned by Matt and his family and they live just next door. Matt made us feel very welcome and he was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is within a few minutes drive of lots of attractions such as Ice Cream Farm, Blue Planet Aquarium, New Brighton Beach, BeWildered and Chester its self or further afield to Liverpool or into Wales plus many more places. There’s also lots to do at the cottage like visiting the animals, watching the wildlife cams on the cottage tv of the birds on the feeders, the resident barn owls and more.There is also a sculpture trail/display in the orchard that guests can exclusively visit and enjoy, it tells a story of life at Lower Farm Cottages and the family the family’s dog Fudge. The trail is based on a book that has been written by the family’s friends and has now been published to raise donations for Alder Hey Hospital. We will be returning very soon and this will now be our place to get away and de-stress. Well Done Matt & Rachel all involved the cottages and the surroundings are lovely and a credit to you all and it’s a big 10/10 from us

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Woodman's Lodge.

  The lodge itself is lovely, clean and well maintained. It was our first trip away since the pandemic so was a real treat. The hot tub was just amazing, we're trying to refrain from buying one ourselves! The lodge had everything we needed and was just the perfect home away from home. The owner, Anthony was so friendly and helpful, answering any questions before we got there and after we arrived. We also met Jill who was lovely and made herself available to help and answer any questions too. The area is so beautiful, with a little lake just a couple of mins drive away and the Nantwich Town Centre close too. Highly recommend a visit! We've told a lot of our friends about this lodge, even sharing the link - we'd definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

  We had a lovely week at the Woodmans Lodge.

  Its decorated to a high standard and is in a peaceful and pleasant setting on the edge of a quiet caravan site. Nantwich is an easy walk away and there are also a river and canal to walk along. The hot tub was the highlight for us, always clean and a nice place to relax. Our little boy loved the space to run around and the horses nearby. The kitchen could have some more equipment but I got the impression that Anthony would have got us anything we needed if we asked. He was on hand if needed and nothing was too much bother. There's no washing machine in the lodge but one you can use on the caravan site if needed. All in all a great place to stay and we'd definitely stay again.

  A fantastic find!

  Stayed over New Year and the cottage is exactly as described and more! The place was absolutely spotless, the kitchen very well stocked, furnishings extremely comfortable and a lovely welcome basket from Dave and Izzy including a well received bottle of Prosecco! The little things catered for - separate hot tub towels - coffee pods for the nespresso machine- fire-lighters, sticks and logs for the log burner. Hot tub is great and maintained daily by the host. Very private space and a wonderful location for exploring Chester, Delamere Forest, North Wales and beyond. Already booked a return visit and would highly recommend this fabulous property!

  We have just had fantastic 4 night stay in Bramble Lodge.

  The accommodation has everything and more than you might need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Dave was there to welcome us and we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gift of prosecco and chocolates in the fridge. The Lodge is pristine, and there was ample equipment and cleaning materials to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We loved the hot tub, which was checked and cleaned daily, and made good use of the fantastic swimming pool. Dave explained that the family would like to reserve some pool time each day, which fitted in brilliantly with our daily plans. We would definitely book again if we come back to the area. Thank you.
