  Really lovely pod, perfect for the two of us and our dog. We loved the hot tub and found the whole pod absolutely lovely to stay in. However there are some things that we were slightly disappointed with. The pod is dog friendly and we loved the little box of treats and dog bowls, however there is not security for the dog, no gate to the cabin area mean that the dog could very easily get out into the field and subsequently the road, we were lucky that we bought something to block the entry way, so might be something to note for future stays. We would have also liked some more information on arrival, there is an info pack, but it seemed to miss out things such as recycling, how to use the hot tub etc. We also arrived to some sort of meat item which was half frozen in the fridge, we were so unsure as to what this was to begin with, as it was just in a sandwich bag and we thought that it had just been left by previous guests. Although there were some negatives, the positives really outweighed them. The pod is beautiful, don’t up to a great standard, beautiful location and was just perfect for what we needed. We will thoroughly looking to book another trip here later in the year, and would recommend to anyone.

  The hut was lovely n clean in a lovely place the owner had lit the hot tub for me which was lovely and appreciated.

  Lovely bottle of champagne on the table on the way in really nice. How ever the hut it self was so cold the temp on the wall said 5 degrees centigrade. There was no wall heating at all and the under floor heating was off and took till lunch time the next day to get up to 15c. The bed was lovely and comfortable but felt damp with the cold. May be the owner could have put the heating on the day before we arrived to keep it warm n damp free. How ever there was extra blankets available and I had some with me just incase . In the fridge there was 2 glass bottles of water one had frozen as it was so cold in side which I lifted out and it shattered into the sink as it thawed out. I would stay again as the hut and views were amazing. Thanks Bruce

  Absolutely loved it there.

  It was warm and welcoming, everything was easy to find and easy to use. Instructions were clear as was the communication throughout. The shepherd's hut was clean and tidy, more than comfortable. The area was quiet (until we turned up I'm sure) haha. Anyone we met on our walk and from the village of Morchard Bishop were very friendly and welcoming. I couldn't find the guest book as I would have loved to comment in there too! Only downside was that we couldn't stay for longer!! We would go back in a heart beat.

  Booked this pod for 3 nights and we couldn’t be more happier with everything we got! Was soo peaceful and the animals around made it even better, also WiFi worked perfectly, kitchen had everything we needed, shower, toilet was perfect, honestly couldn’t recommend more if I could! Best getaway I had in years, I took my little frenchie with us and he had amazing time getting to know Bella and Beatrice (hope I got the right names) owners dogs and they was adorable! Definitely coming back soon!

  Fantastic little pod in a great location! The view from the deck is just beautiful.. very peaceful and quiet. We stayed for a couple of nights and it was everything we needed it to be.. it was a lovely treat to find bacon, sausage, eggs, milk & chilled water in the fridge - even treats for the dog! The pod is well-equipped, cosy, clean and comfy. It's the perfect place to get away and unwind - stargazing from the hot tub was amazing - we'll be back!
