  Lovely cottage tucked away in a quiet location, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

  Whilst the cottage was well equipped, for 4 people, the living area was rather cramped, it would be fine with young kids. Disappointed with the courtyard access having no internal entrance, meant we had to block the front entrance with chairs just to get some air and stop the dog escaping. Whilst the single beds were fine, the master bed was creaky and saggy, my husband resorted to sleeping on the sofa the first few nights. We seem to have mouskitoes every night, a plug in repellent would've been good, we could only find candles which we never purchased. I should point out the cleanliness wasn't great, dirty floors, bread crumbs in the kitchen, musty bedsheets in both rooms, and blonde hair in and on the bedlinen, not great. On the whole, a lovely property. The welcome pack was a lovely touch.

  ABSOLUTE GEM OF A PROPERTY .

  The Property : had everything you need and more tvs in bedrooms which is a must with us as a family with children. Ganes room was amazing with us all playing darts, air hockey, table football with a nice huge garden to relax in with a few drinks and food . Everything was spotless and hygiene is a big thing for us so this was a massive pluss for us . The Owners : this is the 2nd property we have stayed in the Owners rent out 1st one was Nevern house please look it up that was out of this world. the owners have been amazing so friendly and helpful and have made our stays much more relaxing as they have given us information on shops, places of interest etc etc I could go on and on so thanks again for letting us stay and all the help and look forward to seeing you again next week

  This is a lovely modern house with great sea views - the website photos don't really do it justice.

  Beautiful views of the sunrise from the bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and quality bed linen. We were a family group of six adults and the house was perfect for us - I did feel with another two adults it would have been rather too cosy although the house does sleep 8 people. Lovely walks from the house along the coastal path that runs right in front of the house. A short walk to the centre of town with an excellent selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs serving good food. We particularly liked the Castle Inn and Blas at Fronlas for food; I'd suggest booking ahead as even off season we only just managed to get a booking.

  We loved our time at The Pottery.

  Every last detail is of a high standard. There are plenty of crockery, mugs, cutlery etc. and all equipment, furniture is of a high quality which makes for a very comfortable stay. Everything has been thought of - games for children, even a 2nd fridge tucked away in a cupboard. Location is superb, with all amenities in Trefdraeth/Newport within walking distance. We enjoyed the walk down to Parrog & along the river, across the golf course to Newport Sands. I remember the pottery when it was open & we would park in its car park to stay in Mrs Mathias’ B&B when I was a child. Lots to see & do in & around Newport, Fishguard & Cardigan. Diolch o galon. Am sure we’ll return.

  The house was very comfortable, clean and well furnished with tasteful decor.

  The property itself was fine. However we did think the owners failed to provide a number of fundamentals. We had to buy our own toilet paper after 2 days as only one roll was provided per loo, totally inadequate for the size and composition of the party. Similarly we had to buy dishwasher tablets as only 3 were provided, again inadequate for the length of stay and party numbers. Also we had to buy laundry liquid for the washing machine because there was none provided! Considering the amount of money we spent for the house, over £4000, we should not have had to do this. It was a bit mean that these basics were not provided by the owners.
