About this property

This simple cottage is situated in Dinas Cross, north Pembrokeshire between Fishguard and Newport. A nearby lane makes a pleasant walk to the small cove at Aberbach where you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. At nearby Pwll Gwaelod beach can be found The Old Sailors pub and seafood restaurant. Walk from there around the magnificent Dinas Island headland to the little beach at Cwm yr Eglwys with its ruined church. Pentre Ifan and the Preseli Hills are just a few minutes drive.

Over the road is an acre of grounds for you to enjoy, with a fish pond, woodland garden and furniture.

A ramp is available for easy access and together with the spacious accommodation, double glazing and full central heating, this cottage is ideal for a couple or small family. There is bike and boot storage too.

The scattered village of Dinas Cross has a well stocked mini market store and a pub, and nestles between the Preseli Mountains and the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Pwll Gwaelod and Cwm-Yr-Eglwys beaches are both minutes away, both with breathtaking scenery offering the opportunity for tranquil days in perfect settings, and are almost unnoticed by the general public unless they leave the main route through the village. Nearby Newport is a quirky seaside town steeped in history, with various shops, tea rooms and pubs and is also a great place to go boating. With castles, mills, craft centres and golf courses galore scattered all over this beautiful Welsh county, this is the perfect base for a break all year round.

Il problema era l'odore di chiuso (penso legato all'umidità e al fatto che il cottage sia rimasto chiuso non alla mancanza di pulizia) che dava fastidio.

Just 2 positive suggestions. The bathroom would benefit from some shelves to put visitors toiletries on. The area of the asdvertised Summer House was overgrown.

Lovely gardens both around the property and across the road. Delightful hamlet on the outskirts of the village where neighbouring gardens and roadside green spaces are well tended.Character pub at the other end of the village serving good meals.
