  The lodge is in a lovely setting and the people we met were friendly and nice. The sailing club were kind and helpful. It would have been helpful on the advert to know that the access road to the lodge is in really bad repair and would not suit all vehicles- particularly low skirting. The lodge is very basic and is lacking any general comfort. Basic needs were met but it would have been more helpful to fully explain how ‘off grid’ the property is and that there is no point in bringing anything that needs power. (Unless you can charge by usb). I would only recommend this place to a friend if they wanted to get away from busy life and be completely off grid and if they didn’t mind just the basic needs being covered.

  My mum and I really enjoyed the stay at The Sailing Club Bungalow. It was very clean and bright. It was warm and a good base. The only thing as you’ve probably heard before is the drive to the bungalow. There are a lot of pot holes and you need to be careful. At first it seemed a mammoth task but once negotiated a couple of times it was okay as long as you drive very slowly. Also I was taken aback about the lack of electricity sockets. I’m not sure if I saw any information about this as I had bought my hair drier etc. overall a lovely relaxing stay very quiet and we managed to see the lovely sunset a couple of times despite the weather.

  We have been to Cromer many times on holiday since we were children and we loved having this flat as our base. Despite having no parking we didn't find this an issue as either found free parking spaces nearby, or just paid in the local car park. The weather could have been better but didn't stop us getting out to see friends and family we have down here. The flat had everything we needed and was lovely and cosy in the evenings. It really is a great home from home. We recommend going to the Thai down the road for a great takeaway!! We hope to come back to this place very soon for our next visit. Thank you again.

  A really beautiful, spacious and well equipped apartment right in the heart of the historic streets of Cromer and just a minute or two from the beach and the front. Nice and quiet and all the things you need when on holiday – a comfy bed, space to lounge and sparklingly clean kitchen and bathroom. We loved it here and was a handy one minute walk to the Red Lion – a proper old school pub with excellent food overlooking the pier. We parked in the car park behind the tourist information centre and this was also a really good choice.

  this has to be one of the best apartments we have stayed in by far. The property was much more spacious than we thought and really well appointed. The beach is so close and many great walks to be head from the door step. The local coffee shop on the beach was excellent and so were the breakfasts from the cafe next door. We very much enjoyed our time here and cannot wait to return next year when the weather is better so we can appreciate the beaches in all their glory. Thank you so much for a great stay. Highly recommend.
