It was a well equipped modern lodge in a good location . Our main issue was it was very difficult to control the temperature inside as it was so well insulated. It would benefit from a few small extras such as oven gloves , soft broom to use indoors shower caddies for toiletries and lighter summer duvets . The TV did not allow access to the usual streaming apps , which could have been useful on raining days, so perhaps an upgrade at some stage would be helpful We were aware that the quarry was open plan , but we did not quite realise how close the other lodges were to our property The dog welcome pack was very much appreciated - a few dog towels would have been useful. It all other respects it was excellent.

The property was lovely.
The bed was uncomfortable but we managed. The information booklet said that the hearing and water were set on a timer to come on at specific times of the day. This did not happen, we did not want to mess with the timer so we left it as it was when we arrived. However we had a lovely few days away and as I said the property was lovely and clean and we will book again. Thank you.

No iron provided, whenever I have been in properties like this there has been one.
The request on leaving the property was 'to leave it as you found it' ,, - there is a large amount of carpet in the lodge and no vacuum cleaner provided. These are not big things but would have been better with them. The lodge was clean, modern with an amazing fridge/freezer and a wonderful hot tub! Would recommend.

I stayed here with my mum and dog, and everything was lovely.
Was a great little trip. The only thing was that the hot tub didn't feel like it had been cleaned as was a bit scuzzy around the outside. But all in all it was a lovely trip and my mum who suffers with dementia found it very comfortable and accessible.
