This pretty detached cottage sits on the slopes of Croaghegly Mountain with stunning views over the Rosses with its island studded rugged coastline and lakes.

The cosy interiors are bright and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and a sitting room with an open fire. Step outside and the views are pretty spectacular from the terrace, a lovely spot to switch off and relax. If you’re looking for peace and seclusion this property certainly ticks all the boxes. Within easy reach of Dungloe with its shops, pubs and restaurants, perfect for picking up day to day provisions and relaxing over a pub lunch.

This vibrant town also known as Clochán Liath, is the largest town in West Donegal, famous for holding the festival of Mary from Dungloe. This is a great destination for fishing with over 130 lakes in the area plus river and sea fishing… you're spoilt for choice!

There’s a sandy beach just a short drive away from the cottage plus 8 golf courses within 30 miles! Enjoy boat trips to the islands and hike the beautiful mountain trails. Take a day out and explore the stunning Glenveagh National Park. This remote wilderness of native oak woodlands, gin clear lakes, waterfalls and mountains is Irelands second largest National Park. Sitting on the shores of Lough Veagh is the beautiful Glenveagh Castle is a former hunting lodge dating back to the late 19th century. This whole area of national park is home to some interesting flora and fauna as well as red deer, bats and otters.
