Guests are captivated by the stunning views and abundant wildlife at this property. The location is praised for its proximity to local attractions and the village. While some cleanliness issues are noted, the property generally provides a comfortable stay with well-received amenities. The owners are mentioned for their friendliness and occasional thoughtful gestures.
Reviews indicate a generally clean environment, but some guests noted areas needing improvement, such as dust, dead flies, and unclean dishes. The property appears to be well-maintained overall, but inconsistencies in cleanliness have affected guest experiences.
The property's location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to the village and local sites. It serves as a great base for exploring the Cotswolds, with easy access to walking paths and attractions.
The property is generally found to be comfortable, with some guests finding the seating and bed arrangements less than ideal. The upstairs area is noted to be a bit cramped for adults, but overall the property provides a cosy atmosphere.
Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and additional amenities like a pool table and darts. Some guests mentioned a need for more cutlery and better cleaning of kitchenware. The presence of wildlife and bird feeders adds to the enjoyment of the facilities.
While some guests mentioned receiving books from the owner, which was a thoughtful touch, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

It didnât disappoint. The accommodation is great and the views spectacular. On this visit we spotted deer grazing, jays and partridges, to name a few. You are so close to many places. Definitely found our special place.

.. The view was specular! The not so great... lots of spiders inside the house. We noticed a can of bug spray, was that supposed to be a warning? No garbage disposal, steep stairs both inside and outside, and a lot of rules posted "everywhere". It was a little too secluded for us, but the view was wonderful.
Gabrielle
The cottage was as described and as shown in the photos. The view was beautiful and we saw lots of birds, rabbits and a deer. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.
