Oakmead is a well-received cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh, praised for its cleanliness, peacefulness, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the fully equipped kitchen, cosy conservatory, and delightful garden. The property is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds, with easy access to local amenities and scenic walks. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, describing it as very clean and tidy upon arrival. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness maintained at the property.
The location is frequently praised for being quiet yet conveniently close to the town centre, pubs, and shops. It is also mentioned as a good base for exploring the Cotswolds, although there are no comments on beautiful views.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a comfy bed, cosy atmosphere, and a warm conservatory. However, there is a single mention of pillows being too fat, which suggests a slight room for improvement in this area.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and lovely garden. However, there are comments about rubbish disposal being confusing and a bathroom fan not working, indicating some room for improvement in maintenance.
The property is commended for thoughtful touches like providing tea, coffee, and biscuits. A special mention of festive decorations and a welcome gift during a Christmas stay adds to this sentiment. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

It was well decorated and furnished to a high standard. Garden was very nice and tidy. Looking forward to returning the next time we visit the Cotswold area.

The cottage was clean, well equipped and a great position to walk into town for the large choice of pubs, restaurants and coffee houses. I loved waiting to see the train each day which did not interfere with the general quietness of the area.
