Decorated and furnished to a very high standard, this charming cottage has one bedroom with a king sized bed, generous en-suite shower room as well as a welcoming open plan living space. It also benefits from an enclosed garden in which to sit out and relax, enjoying lovely views of the beautiful surrounding countryside and amazing sunsets. The village of Hollington and neighbouring villages offer a range of country pubs, some within walking distance, serving exceptional food and drink. Surrounded by local walks to take you through to Osmaston Park and on to neighbouring villages. Visit the nearby market town of Ashbourne with its eccentric street plan, Georgian buildings and good selection of inns and restaurants. Take advantage of excellent cycling routes including the Tissington Trail and enjoy the many other surrounding activities ranging from golfing, water sports to quad biking. The Peak District has so much to offer including the famous Alton Towers theme park and nature lovers will enjoy the nature reserve of Dovedale with its wooded ravines and walking paths. The croft was just perfect, out in the countryside, (lovely views across fields), it's own private patio garden too, but close to so much of the area for visiting and walking. We were greeted on arrival by Julie, who just happened to be near the cottage. So she took us in and showed us around and told us about heating etc. The most delicious lemon drizzle cake was left for us, along with some milk, tea, coffee etc. Several NT properties aren't too far away, and beautiful Chatsworth House a little bit further afield. Dovedale and Ilam is not far and we enjoyed a lovely walk there, although the car park, though it's large can be very busy. Weather was a bit up and down, but this was September and only to be expected. Thank you for your hospitality

The croft is a beautiful cottage a home from home, everything you need and more, comfortable furniture and lovely rain shower, lovely kitchen, dishwasher,washing machine ect beautiful views from the cottage the owners are so friendly and very helpful we had a fantastic week here, lovely welcome cream tea and treats for Bailey our dog, he loved the field opposite he could run till his hearts content we loved it so much we book nxt easter while we were here, a truely amazing place to stay would highly recommend
