The property is praised for its well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and additional TV package. The host, Ian, is noted for his helpfulness. Some guests mention the need for maintenance and a deep clean, but these are outweighed by the positive experiences and the quiet, convenient setting.

While many guests found the cottage comfortable, there were concerns about cleanliness, including mouldy window frames and cobwebs. However, these issues seem isolated rather than widespread.

The location is consistently praised for being quiet and convenient, with easy access to local pubs, attractions, and beautiful surrounding areas, making it an ideal base for exploration.

The majority of guests found the cottage cosy and the bed very comfortable. There were some concerns about the duvet and window ventilation, but overall, the comfort level was high.

Facilities like the TV package and well-equipped kitchen were appreciated, but some guests noted the lack of a dishwasher and issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The property's facilities were generally seen as adequate but could benefit from some updates.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the host's thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Medbourne is an old settlement in the Harborough District in the county of Leicestershire. Medbourne was a Roman hamlet on the route from Leicester to Colchester, but it is now a conservation area with antique stone cottages, huge beautiful buildings, and green pathways that combine to make the village one of the most picturesque in the Welland Valley. The community has a mediaeval stone bridge over a brook, a beautiful church, a typical pub, and a post office that sells the necessities.
