West Wing Le Chalet receives positive feedback for its peaceful setting, spaciousness, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like cakes and the property's proximity to nature reserves. While some find the decor dated and suggest modernisation, the charm and tranquillity of the cottage, along with its garden and wildlife, are frequently praised.
Most guests find the property comfortable and fairly clean, with ample towels and toiletries. However, a few noted areas for improvement, particularly regarding kitchen cleanliness and a singular report of an unclean state upon arrival.
The location is highly regarded for its quiet countryside setting and proximity to local towns and nature reserves, making it an ideal base for exploring. The peaceful surroundings with wildlife are a highlight, although the remote setting requires a car for travel.
Guests generally find the accommodation comfortable, with a cosy lounge and comfortable beds. Some guests mention the furniture could be more comfortable, and there are mixed reviews about the property's temperature during different seasons.
The property is well-equipped for a self-catering stay, with a well-stocked kitchen and entertainment options. Criticisms include the lack of a washing machine and suggestions for modernisation. The maintenance of certain facilities like the DVD player and outdoor veranda could be improved.
Guests frequently mention the thoughtful gestures of the hosts, such as leaving cakes, milk, and tea. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Although I have stayed in less dated accommodation, the overall feel of the place was lovely, it was almost like I was staying with a friend. The bed was comfortable, everywhere was clean, & had everything I wanted to come back to after exploring the Lincolnshire countryside. There are shops & pubs not far away, & it is well situated for Boston & Frampton marshes, Lincoln & Skegness less than an hour away, me & Denzel dog had a really relaxed break. David

No cake or milk on arrival as stated in advert as they said they wasn't aware we was arriving thou the chalet was ready and was allowed in early which was nice. Janet is very nice. To make property better blackout curtains in bedroom and a TV would be great. The place is beautiful ground's lovely and quiet would recommend.

It has a large garden with a view of trees, my dog enjoyed running around in it. The veranda was a pleasant place to sit out. I had a relaxing break.
