The holiday home is on the edge of Greens Norton village, within walking distance of the pub and 2 miles from Towcester. The M1 is only a few miles away to make it easy to reach and enjoy attractions like Silverstone and Althorp House and Gardens.

Set in 2.5 acres of private grounds on the edge of Greens Norton village and half a mile from The Butchers Arms pub, the main house sleeps 18 people in 9 bedrooms with the option of adding the use of a three-bedroom apartment to sleep four more people for a supplement. Features include a games room, manicured gardens, hot tub, and gorgeous period charm. The holiday home couldn't be better for your self-catering family reunion, milestone birthday, hosting wedding guests, a hen party, or corporate event. It is available for bookings all year round.

Greens Norton is a pretty Northamptonshire village a mile from Towcester and 12 miles or around 25-minutes from Northampton. It's wonderfully serene yet convenient for the A43 and the M1, making it easy to reach. The house is on a working arable farm which adds to its rural charm, especially in summer when the crops are at their most impressive. The village pub is an easy walk from the house, and you're only a mile from the picturesque market town of Towcester with locally owned places to eat, drink and shop.

With the famous Silverstone Circuit, shooting centre, and distillery, Silverstone is just 5 miles from Greens Norton. Other attractions include Althorp House and Gardens, National Trust Stowe, Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum, Delapre Abbey, and Castle Ashby Gardens. Take a trek with a llama, tackle the indoor climbing wall at the Pinnacle Climbing Centre, visit family-friendly animal farms, and the spa at Fawsley Hall, where you can indulge in relaxing treatments. Alternatively, make the most of the gardens, football goal and barbecue at Greens Norton House. If you want to plan special activities like a yoga session or arrange for a private chef to cater a special meal, the owners may be able to recommend local providers.

Accommodation Comprises:

Greens Norton House has been refurbished and redecorated from top to bottom with careful attention to detail. Accommodation is over two floors.

Ground Floor:

Chef's kitchen fully equipped to self-cater for up to 28 people. An oil-fired AGA (October - April) and a modern double electric oven provide plenty of space to cook Sunday dinners, with two fridge/freezers plus two dishwashers to make light work of the clearing up. The dining table seats 28 people with two highchairs available.

Living room with ample seating and a 55-inch Smart TV where you can access your Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime.

If the children aren't making the most of the TV, you'll probably find them in the games room playing pool or air hockey. 

Bedroom 8 is located on the ground floor with a super king sized bed which can be made into twins

Bedroom 9 is on the ground floor next to the wet room and has a super king which can also be made in twins. Beds are made up for your arrival and a bath sheet & hand towel are provided for every guest.

Two cloakrooms with a WC and basin minimise the need to queue.

First Floor:

There are 8 more bedrooms on the first floor. All of them are beautifully furnished with comfortable beds, storage, and good quality bed linen.

Bedroom 1 (Master) has a king sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, WC and basin.

Bedroom 2 is a spacious super king room with its own bathroom next door

Bedroom 3 is another roomy super king with its own bathroom across the landing

Bedroom 4 is a king room with traditional elegance. 

Bedroom 5 is a twin room that can also be made into a king.

Bedroom 6 is a twin room that can also be made into a king. 

Bedroom 7 is a comfortable double room.

There are two family bathrooms on this level, bringing the total number of bathrooms to 6.

We can provide up to 3 single Jay-be beds (suitable for under 16's) which can be placed in the larger bedrooms to give space for up to 30 guests. 

Apartment:

A separated, self-contained apartment on the first floor has two double bedrooms and a third dormitory style bedroom with 3 single beds. It has its own kitchen/diner and bathroom. The apartment can be accessed from the main house or via a separate outdoor staircase.

Outside: 2.5 acres of grounds include a six-person hot tub, a seating and barbecue area (£50 BBQ fee for cleaning and fuel) a lawn for football and outdoor games. There is parking on the gated driveway for 12+ cars and cctv which offers additional protection.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen, bath towels, and one basket of logs are provided. Guests will need to bring towels for use in the hot tub. The owners no longer accept pets. Smoking is not permitted. Prices quoted are for 18 people. A supplement is due for use of the apartment.
