Flat 19 By The Beach in Harwich is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location with stunning sea views and proximity to the beach. Guests appreciate the secure parking and the property's quietness, making it an ideal base for exploring the coastline and local attractions. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently mention the high standard of cleanliness, with the property being described as lovely, clean, and well-kept. One minor issue with bird droppings on the balcony was noted, but this does not detract significantly from the overall cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, lovely views, and secure parking. It is considered perfect for beach lovers and exploring Harwich, with easy access to local amenities and attractions.
The property is described as comfortable, especially the beds, and guests report sleeping well. The presence of two bathrooms and the quality of furnishings contribute to the comfort. However, one guest found the towels rough, slightly affecting the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with secure parking and easy key pick-up. However, some guests mention maintenance issues such as descaling showers, labelling fused switches, and fixing a washing machine. These are minor but suggest room for improvement.
While guests express gratitude for their stays and one mentions a welcome gift, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches like gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that while a welcome gift was appreciated, such gestures are not guaranteed.

And the beach is good for sea swimming and the promenade is accessible and goes all the way round to Harwich one way and out onto salt marshes the other. Own parking spot and clear instructions for access. We really enjoyed our stay here.
