The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. The location was fantastic â beautiful surroundings and conveniently situated. The place itself was warm, cosy, and felt like a true home away from home. We appreciated the permit for the car park and how surprisingly quiet and peaceful the setting was considering the location. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and weâd happily return. A well deserved 5 stars! Highly recommend.

Location is central in Keswick so ideal for shops and walkers. The only downside for us was we do enjoy a bit of a lie in on a morning however as the property is situated about a restaurant, Cafe and WH Smithâs we were woken every morning between 6 and 7 by delivery Trucks so very noisy early morning.
