An excellent base for a family of four who want to experience this lovely part of the Lake District National Park, Sparrow Cottage offers stylish interiors throughout whilst being close to a range of outdoor activities. After parking in the off-road space, head inside to be welcomed by a fabulously furnished open-plan living space. Grab a seat on one of the plush sofas and switch on the Smart TV to watch your favourite show; why not throw some logs into the woodburning stove, too? Progress to the kitchen, a space enjoying sleek, white units with wooden worktops and a great array of appliances, such as a washer/dryer and slimline dishwasher. Once the budding chef of the family has whipped up a culinary delight here, tuck into it at the neighbouring dining table or take it out to the communal garden, where you can enjoy it as you watch the idyllic beck flow by. As the day winds to a close, climb the stairs to find two well-appointed bedrooms, a double and a bunk, as well as a fantastic bathroom, where soothing dips can be enjoyed in the spacious, corner bath and refreshing showers can be had in the glass enclosure. There are also a range of pubs, restaurants and shops in the town centre, as well as lovely walks in the surrounding countryside. Keswick is a great place to visit any time of year.

VERY minor negatives - double bed uncomfortable, new mattress needed. Checkout time of 9am is very early, all the properties Iâve stayed in are 10am or even 11am BUT I would highly recommend tSparrow Cottage
