Latch Cottage in Keswick is highly praised for its cosy and welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness, and excellent location close to local amenities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts and well-equipped facilities. While there are minor maintenance issues mentioned, the overall sentiment is positive with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the cottage's cleanliness, with remarks on its well-presented and clean condition. One mention of a drainage issue, which was resolved, does not detract significantly from the overall high standards of cleanliness.
The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with its proximity to the town centre, pubs, and walking routes. The convenience and quietness of the location contribute to its near-perfect rating.
The cottage is described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, particularly the bed. There are some comments about the steep stairs and low doorways, but these are part of the property's character and do not significantly impact the comfort level.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped for self-catering holidays. However, there are a few mentions of maintenance issues such as the bathroom heating and hot water, which suggest room for improvement.
Guests frequently mention and appreciate the thoughtful welcome gifts, including wine, biscuits, and toiletries. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

We loved the excellent Location of the cottage to all amenities that we would require, I didnât do any cooking as we ate in the local pubs and cafes surrounding the cottage. My car never moved all week so much to see and do around Keswick . My poor dogs paws were so tired .
