Pros: Privacy was assured and welcomed. Even though the barn is attached to the main property it still felt very separate and you didn't feel like you had to tiptoe around. Owners were very responsive to the one reported issue of a dead lightbulb and fixed this whilst we were out. Assigned parking space for a medium sized car. Beautiful setting in a very quiet village. Properties private garden was very nice and I'm sure will look amazing in Spring/Summer. Fell walks on doorstep. Lots of wildlife. Owners 3 dogs were friendly and generally quiet. Barn is homely, comfortable and has most of the necessary cooking/cleaning/washing facilities. Clean and presentable. Nice big rooms. Welcome pack was a nice touch. TV allowed Netflix linkage for rainy afternoon watching and the owners provided a nice selection of books. Good location for many Lake District activities and places of interest.
