High Pike in Ambleside is a well-regarded apartment with guests praising its location, comfort, and well-equipped nature. The modern bathrooms and kitchen upgrades are appreciated, as is the property's proximity to local attractions and restaurants. The views and quiet setting contribute to a relaxing stay, although minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance are noted.
Most guests found High Pike clean and comfortable, with only a few mentioning issues such as mould, dust, and uncleaned kitchen appliances. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.
The apartment's location is highly praised for its proximity to Ambleside, restaurants, shops, and local walks, with guests appreciating the quiet setting and the views. The steep path to the town is noted but does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the apartment, highlighting the quality of the mattress, the spaciousness, and the tasteful furnishings. Some guests suggested improvements like a TV in the bedroom or softer pillows, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms. However, there are comments about the lack of certain items like a cafetière and issues with parking and maintenance responsiveness. The absence of a washing machine is also noted by some guests.
While many reviews express satisfaction with the property and its amenities, there is no specific mention of gifts or personal touches by the owners that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for this category.

Great location near to centre of Ambleside- path a bit steep. Car parking can be tight if vehicles are parked on opposite side of the road.

In terms of maintenance a striped line might be a good idea from the lift to the apartments on the step down. Step notice is very small on the door. Parking was a bit of a nightmare especially as space for No 20 is next door to flower bed and with work going on opposite nearly impossible to park.
