Guests say

Lakeland View offers stunning views of Lake Windermere, with guests praising its excellent location and the comfort of the apartment. The balcony is a highlight for many, providing a perfect spot to enjoy the scenery. While the property is well-equipped and generally clean, some guests noted dated decor and a need for better kitchenware. Parking can be tight, but the property's charm and views often outweigh these concerns.

The majority of guests found the apartment to be clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few mentioned issues such as cobwebs and a need for better vacuuming, which slightly affected the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Ambleside, stunning lake views, and accessibility to local attractions. The convenience of a bus stop outside and nearby dining options further enhance the appeal of the property's location.

Guests generally found the apartment comfortable, with a particularly comfy bed and a cosy balcony. Some discomfort was noted due to dated furniture and a lack of support from the sofa, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The apartment is equipped with necessary appliances and guests appreciated the detailed instructions provided. However, feedback indicates that the kitchenware could be updated, and some essentials were lacking. The parking situation, while manageable, was also a point of contention for some.

While guests appreciated the detailed instructions and information provided, there were comments about the lack of essentials such as washing up liquid and toilet rolls. No specific mentions of gifts were found, so it cannot be determined if the property typically offers such amenities.

Balcony is a lovely place to sit but if it rains you can still see the view from the sofa/chair. Our second time visiting this apartment and we'd happily come back. Would suggest the provision of a kitchen spray to keep the counters clean and hygienic - every other self-catering place we stay in provides such a thing. The parking space is narrow but you can drive up another level and park in the unnumbered parking space there.

10 minute walk into Ambleside and there's even a bus stop outside the main entrance should you wish to take a ride to Keswick or kendal. Read a lot about the parking space being tight, we have a nissan juke and had no issues whatsoever. One gripe though only minor, there's only one toiler role which is a bit off when you're paying so much to stay in a luxury apartment. Come on, you could leave few more, going shopping on day 1 isn't on my holiday wish list. Would certainly stay here again though.

It was everything it said and more, the apartment was spotless and the best equipped that we have ever stayed in. My wife didn’t want to leave and we are already looking at rebooking for next year
