About this property

Jubilee is a wonderful detached cottage on the Graythwaite Estate, occupying an enviable position in the central courtyard, just a moment's stroll from the indoor swimming pool, table tennis room and children's play area. This beautifully-restored Lake District cottage makes a perfect family base. As well as offering spacious, comfortable accommodation and wonderful woodland views, this Lake District cottage is also ideal for enjoying the wider estate's walking, cycling and fishing, or for heading out into the Lake District itself to discover all it has to offer.

The picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Cars are banned from the village, leaving visitors free to wander the wealth of tiny alleyways, thoroughfares, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th Century houses. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.

There were also dirty tissues scrunched up in the corners of the sitting room window presumably to mop up condensation. Very dirty and not cleaned properly as we shouldn’t be finding others peoples rubbish and tissues
