Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the lodge to be spotless, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few guests mentioned issues with cleaning standards upon arrival, such as dirty kitchen utensils and bathrooms, which slightly impacted the overall impression.

The lodge's location is highly praised for its idyllic, quiet setting close to Windermere and Bowness, with easy access to local attractions and walks. The peaceful and beautiful surroundings have been a highlight for many guests.

While the lodge is generally considered comfortable and homely, some guests reported the beds as being too firm. The worn sofa was also noted, but these were minor points in an otherwise relaxing environment.

The lodge is well-equipped and the hot tub is a much-appreciated feature. Guests have enjoyed the on-site pub and the park's amenities. Some maintenance issues were reported, such as broken blinds and the need for tightening cupboard hinges, but these did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owners towards the guests. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The bed was very comfortable, what brand is the mattress? However, it was very concerning when someone just walked on to the property, up to the hot tub, with no prewarning or indication of what they were doing at 10am. Was there for about 2 minutes and went off again. Really not happy with this.

The site however was on another level, hot tub was used come rain or shine, accommodation was spotless and had everything you needed.

  • Martin

Beds were comfortable had all amenities you need, only downfall was that couldn't get the WI-FI to work . Beautiful place to stay and scenery is out of this world and i would highly recomend to friends and family..
