Guests are enamoured with Waterbird's stunning views of Lake Windermere and its prime location, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting. The lodge's spaciousness and secure decking area are frequently praised, alongside the convenience of local attractions and walks. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found Waterbird to be clean and well-maintained, though there were a few instances where guests reported cleanliness issues upon arrival. These seem to be isolated cases rather than a common trend.

The location is consistently lauded for its exceptional views and proximity to local amenities and attractions. The lakeside setting provides a peaceful atmosphere that guests find ideal for relaxation.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable, with ample space and a relaxing environment. However, some guests mentioned that the beds were hard and the lodge could be cold upon arrival, suggesting room for improvement in comfort.

Facilities are well-received, with special mentions of the large deck and the lodge's equipment. Nonetheless, guests have pointed out areas needing updates and repairs, indicating that while facilities are good, there is potential for enhancement.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

There is plenty of space and it has three great bedrooms. Hope to revisit next year. The only disappointing thing was and it’s probably not important to a lot of people, but the pans and crockery and cutlery could all do with a refresh, nothing matches and it’s basic, they let it down and the hoover was broken.

The lodge was welcoming, it was lovely and warm when we arrived and spotlessly clean. Most importantly we booked this lodge for the views and our Expectations were Exceeded the Views took Our breath away, we would definitely stay there again imagine it in the summer wow.
