We were very comfortable, with everything we needed, the house having being renovated to a high spec. Middleton is a really friendly place, an attractive centre with a few shops, nice pubs and cafes and itâs a good base for exploring around. The nearby countryside is beautiful with walks from the door. It is also close to such places as Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, High Force waterfall, Barnard Castle. All in all a fab holiday, we will return.
