Walkers can join the Pennine Way National Trail or explore the Cheviot Hills, both accessible within 9 miles, or venture 14 miles to enjoy the stunning coastline. Access the cottage down three stone steps from the driveway and enter through the side patio area into the hallway. Turn right for the spacious, open plan kitchen/diner with a feature wood burner. Here you have everything you need to prepare hearty meals with a double gas hob and double electric oven, American style fridge/freezer, microwave and a washing machine. A TV on the wall will keep the cook entertained and the large dining table is perfect for a sociable dinner together. The utility cupboard is located on the patio housing a tumble dryer. Head back to the hallway and into the lounge with comfortable seating where you can relax for a movie night on the smart TV. Pass through the arch into the bright and airy sunroom with a window offering lovely views of the garden and the open countryside to the hills beyond.
