Situated in rural Northumberland between Morpeth and Alnwick, Felton is a charming village. Ten miles away is Alnwick, with its castle and now-famous Garden, which has Europe's largest cascading water feature, a gigantic tree house, a rose garden, and an ornamental walled garden. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, tavern, and restaurant. Additionally, the castle is well-known for its role as Hogwarts in the "Harry Potter" film series. With miles of golden sand beaches, dozens of castles, and boat tours to the world-famous Farne Islands all within easy reach, Alnwick is a great destination to visit. Very dog friendly, furniture was comfy and the overall lodge was so tranquil and quiet with the added bonus of the lovely hot tub with the canopy! Would love to come and stay again!
