We ended up putting disinfectant down all drains and keeping the fan on. As discussed the hot tub hadn't been cleaned on arrival. We were highly disappointed with this, especially as we have stayed at other accommodation and understand they should be emptied and refilled for all new occupants, which this hadn't. The accommodation was OK, think it needs some TLC. Feel gutted as I have never given poor feedback before.

It was very well equipped, and comfortable, and the location of the park itself was ideal for all area's we were interested in for our week long walking holiday. I dislike having to give any negative feedback but feel I have to mention our disappointment on the cleanliness of the lodge. Although the towels/ bedding, worktops, and bathrooms were clean(apart from the grouting on tiles in the en-suite), the lodge had a fusty smell on our arrival, and looking at the cushions on the sofas, they could do with washing. The skirting boards were really dirty throuout the lodge and there were children's handprints on most of the windows(we didn't have children there). We also had to wash most the cutlery before using them. To me,these things should be checked and cleaned where necessary. The hot tub was a great addition, and we used it most evenings, and we really appreciated the prosecco and chocolates left by the owner. But,unfortunately,we probably wouldn't book again.

Hot tub was used every day by daughter. Good to see it checked regularly for chlorine level. Quiet site with no problems. Plenty of attractions to see nearby.
