The flowers, Christmas tree and Prosecco a nice welcome. We also brought our own Christmas tree so it it was very ChristmassyThe cottage is small but has everything you need to be comfortable. Shower very good. The stairs are narrow and you have to remember to duck at first but we got used to it. The Lion pub does nice meals, a good atmosphere and was good fun Christmas lunchtime. We enjoyed our cosy cottage Christmas away.

Ideal base for days out. (Chester, Shrewsbury, Llangollen to name but a few) We'd definately go back again. St. Oswalds church, in the village is well worth a walk round and the Lion pub has good food in smart, comfortable surroundings. All within a few hundred yards of the cottage.
