  We have stayed in numerous properties in Mawgan Porth and have to say that Treath Barn is an absolute stand out! Perfect location for access to the sea - yes its a steep walk down ...and especially up, but far shorter than accessing from the village and walking across long stretches of sand. The layout of the accommodation itself was perfect for us, especially being able to section off the downstairs bedroom and bathroom areas to keep wet dogs contained. The property was also equipped to a very high standard. I love to cook and usually have to 'make do' without weighing scales, baking tins, rolling pins etc...but not here - Treath's kitchen was just like a home from home. Finally I must commend the beautiful furnishings, a squishy, luxurious, wonderful sofa, lovely wall art and decorative touches, and some quality cook books and reading material to boot! Wonderful. We'll definitely be back.

  We had a fabulous time. The cottage was immaculate, in a fantastic location, very comfortable and homely, well appointed with high quality appliances and equipment throughout. It's a blissful spot overlooking the creek and with a very pleasant short walk along the Saint's Way into Padstow. The cottage was very clean, the provision of laundry bags and the discreet notes advising us what to do with used towels, kitchen cloths and how to leave the property on departure i.e. with windows open, gave us a great deal of confidence in the current climate. Well done and thank you to all at Cornish Horizons, the property cleaners and maintenance staff and to the owners for allowing us the opportunity to stay in such a delightful place. You even provided us with sunny days and warm-ish seas in mid October! Thank you all again and we already planning on returning to Little Petherick next year.

  A very nice cottage ideally situated on the quieter side of Looe but easy walking distance into main area. Set over three floors, ground floor a storage and utility area, 1st floor kitchen/ diner and living room, top floor bedroom and shower/wc. Very clean and cannot think of anything that was missing for a great stay. Nice addition of fresh milk and pack of shortbread biscuits on arrival, even tea coffee and sugar were in appropriate caddy’s. Everything has been thought of , just need to add your own food and you’re done. Nicely decorated and laid out. 10 seconds to harbour and 20 seconds to shop or Jolly Sailor pub. Really recommend.

  Treath Barn is a beautiful barn conversion - it felt like home. The open plan living area has everything you need and is comfortable (the loaf sofa a big plus). The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher plus an nespresso coffee machine (another big plus). The views are lovely and spending time sitting in the picture window was a favorite of mine. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely, clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space. The walk to the beach/village centre from the Barn is lovely - it is hilly so great exercise. Will definitely plan to visit and stay here again.

  Terry Holt is a fantastic little comfortable property situated right in the heart of the town. A short stroll to the harbour quayside and a five minute walk to the main centre where most of the shops, pubs and restaurants are located. We found the property to be very comfortable, tastefully decorated and very well stocked with everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday. The additional use of the garage space is excellent for drying coats, putting dirty shoes etc. we would definitely recommend staying here and we will again in the future.
