The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions, though one guest noted difficulty with navigation using a provided postcode, which slightly impacts the score.

A hamlet called Brigsteer can be found in Cumbria, midway between the cities of Helsington and Levens and about five miles from Kendal. Scout Scar overlooks the village of Brigsteer, which is situated on the edge of the Lyth valley. A village hall and a nearby bar called The Wheatsheaf Inn are among the village's amenities. In the village of Brigsteer, three farms are still in operation today, though many more developments have been added since. Additional amenities can be found in nearby Levens, including a general store/newsagent and a bar. Levens is made up of a collection of elegant, stone-built traditional homes, cottages, and barn conversions that are surrounded by undeveloped countryside, a nature reserve, and a variety of flora and fauna. As the Southern Gateway to the Lakes, Kendal is further away but is the best location for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales, and other areas.

. Lack of kitchen utensils e.g 3 teaspoons only, no tray, no bread board no measuring jug, no fruit bowel. When I took cover off duvet at end of stay it was stained. 1 broken slat on blinds, 1 slat missing. On the plus side there was milk left in fridge, tea bags coffee left, nice touch. Beautiful shower with lots of hot water.
Sandra
