A delightful end of terrace cottage with private patio and shared use of an outdoor play area. Inside, the superb, sociable open living area on the first floor is made characterful and cosy with its woodburning stove and beamed ceiling. With upside down accommodation, the two ground floor bedrooms ensure a good nights rest after a busy day, and share the family bathroom with spa bath and separate walk-in shower, making this cottage an ideal base for a relaxing break. The village of Bolton Low Houses offers a good pub serving food. The market town of Wigton and the village of Caldbeck are nearby. The area offers much to see and do and includes the towns of Penrith and Keswick, the cathedral city of Carlisle, Derwentwater and Lake Bassenthwaite.

We were made so welcome! The dogs, chickens and cats were a constant source of entertainment. Loved the sheep and cattle passing by as this working farm went about its usual business. A highlight for me was going to close the bedroom window - Stable Cottage is an upside down house - to find some curious cows looking in the window at me

We always have such a lovely chilled out week whatever the weather. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for your travels.The accommodation is absolutely perfect. The garden is a real bonas and is a hit with children of all ages. We are already planning our next trip in the future. The location is great for trips to Keswick and walks galore. It is a great place to make lots of memories.
