Guests say

Little Barn is highly praised for its stunning views, cleanliness, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, beautiful decoration, and the property's overall comfort. The garden's fencing and pet-friendliness received mixed feedback, with some concerns about security for pets. The furniture comfort was noted by some as an area for improvement.

Guests consistently describe Little Barn as spotlessly clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The property is lauded for its beautiful location with magnificent views and proximity to local attractions, although pet owners expressed concerns about the garden's security.

The property is generally considered warm and comfortable, with some guests finding the furniture low and the pillows too large, which suggests room for improvement in seating and bedding comfort.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and excellent shower pressure. However, some guests suggested improvements to garden fencing and the provision of a knife sharpener and higher chairs for disabled guests.

While the property is appreciated for its high quality and cleanliness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

We had a slight problem with the boiler one morning so I rang Leah who informed me her brother and Dad would call, luckily it fired up so I rang her back but her brother and Dad still called within 10 mins just to check everything was ok. We will definitely be back.

My family and I loved it. The only thing we had a slight issue with was the gaps underneath the fence as our dog could get undernesth the fence , some chicken wire would resolve this issue. Other than that everything was perfect.

Amazing views and very quiet, just the donkeys and alpacas for company and they only wandered into the neighbouring field a couple of times. It made the perfect spot for our mini break. Not quite warm enough to enjoy the outside seating areas but we imagine it would be a fabulous place to sit with a morning cuppa or an evening G & T. Lots to explore in the area - we did a lovely walk from the cottage up to the Hospice tower with 360 degree views and then down to Cartmel - a very pretty place with cafes and pubs and a Priory lovely food and extensive menus at the Mallard Tea Room. Took the steam train from Haverthwaite to Lakeside and did a lovely walk up to High Dam through woodland. The tea room at Haverthwaite station sell off their scones and pasties for £1 at the end of each day. Akhi Indian in GOS delivered our takeaway too. Also enjoyed exploring around Humprhey Head and had a lovely meal at Thyme Out in Grange Over Sands before heading home. We would like to return to take the train across the estuary to Silverdale - maybe next year... Thanks for sharing your property.
