The property is lovely with every room having been tastefully done to a high standard, with good quality equipment, furniture and decorations. It was also spotlessly clean when we arrived. The rooms were very comfortable & it was the best nights sleep I can remember on any holiday. Outside there is a patio with table which gets the afternoon & evening sun, and a large lawned area with ample parking. It’s not enclosed so we had to put our dog’s lead on while we were out. The cottage is ideally located for visiting many of the Lake District’s most popular spots, but is in a lovely peaceful location to enable maximum relaxation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely go back if I was visiting the area in the future.

Located in quiet location but not far from main roads. Very clean and comfortable and owners very helpful and attentive

The property was stunning and did not disappoint. The owners have completed this property to a high standard, combining the old with the new with ease. The bedrooms were comfy and well equipped but as a suggestion curtains would have enabled us to sleep past 5am and sunrise. Great communication with the owner to ensure our stay was perfect. The location was perfect for visiting nearby towns and beauty spots. Although the property is in a secluded spot it would benefit from blinds in the main lounge for a bit more privacy. We loved this property and would return in a heartbeat and would highly recommend.
