Lazonby, a picturesque rural community, sits on the border between the Eden Valley and the North Pennines, both designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Canoeing, trout and salmon fishing, as well as climbing, walking, and cycling, are all popular activities in this area, which is known for its location on the River Eden.
