The deepest, widest, and shortest canal in the world, with a tavern at the end and views over the bay. All National Park attractions are accessible. Furness Coast has sandy beaches and birding. Nearby family attractions include the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakes Windermere and Coniston, and Birkrigg Common.
