) Itâs spacious, in a nice area, was clean and was good value. However, it could be so much nicer if a few maintenance issues were sorted, some furniture was updated and a few more homely touches were added. The upstairs toilet flush broke whilst we were there too, as others have experienced, so we had to use the downstairs one only. The garden furniture is tatty and needs replacing or repainting so we didnât want to use it. Some of the other furniture is past its best too. The wardrobes we could use were a bit messy and had random stuff in (you canât use the wardrobe in the main bedroom as itâs locked.) In my opinion it felt very magnolia, bland and a bit bare in places, not as cosy as it could be- which is a shame as itâs a lovely house.

There was no cupboard space for storing food in the kitchen. The upstairs toilet kept breaking and looking at reviews this had been the case for a while and hadnât been fixed. When we arrived there were two cars parked on the drive. On the whole the property was fine, but is not really set up to be a holiday cottage. There was no tourist information about the local area for example. We would not stay here again

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Only very small gripe was there was no rubber mat for the bath/shower as I am always super cautious when getting in and out of the bath that I don't slip and a mat would have helped. Garden was very secure for our dogs. Have already booked again for September and will continue to book this property when travelling to the Wirral.
